.:Kadiance:.Prologue ~ A rough wind ruffled the mother's fur. As she stalked through the tall grass, her two squealing cubs struggling to keep up with her, the wolf smelled a different scent. A scent of many wolves. Making the young mother anxious, she raced faster. Again, her pups struggled behind their mother, unable to catch up. A crack of thunder frightened the female, and she took off running in the other direction, leaving her pups on their own in the mysterious half forest of the mountain.
